Microsoft’s Critical patches coming on Tuesday

Microsoft has warn that they will be releasing six security updates all affecting Windows operating system and some of them will be critical requiring the users to restart their systems.

On Tuesday, Microsoft will also release an updated version of its Malicious Software Removal Tool, and a non-security update for Windows.

The company did not release any details on the specific nature of the patches. They are detectable using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer. It also noted that while the software removal tool update will be available on Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update and Download Center, it will not be distributed using Software Update Services.

Last month, saw just three patches on Patch Tuesday.
