Comcast takes off the gloves
If you’re a Comcast customer who has so far resisted the opportunity to upgrade to the company’s new, improved and (for Comcast) vastly more profitable digital cable service, the company is about to make you an offer you can’t refuse.
Literally.
For years, the Philadelphia-based cable monolith has been encouraging analog subscribers — Comcast’s name for those of us who limp along with only 60 or 70 of the eleventy-google cable channels currently available — to “move up” to its digital service.
