May 23rd 2005 marks the release of the first mainstream internet television show Systm. This technology orientated show will feature some of the well known ex-TechTV hosts who were removed from the network after Comcast took over and merged the channel with the less popular game focused channel G4. Kevin Rose, one of the first pioneers for this type of internet TV technology, announced on this morning’s TWiTcast he is leaving G4 to work exclusively on Systm. Systm will be delivered directly to content subscribers via BitTorrent on a weekly/semi-weekly episodes created and recorded on to an internet friendly video download which will be playable by a wide choice of computers and set-top boxes. Systm will focus on technology news information as well as product reviews and in-depth tech guidance for all.
